Myasthenia Gravis is a rare disease that can, especially in emergency situations present like other diseases or issues. Providers may misinterpret slurred speech or unsteady walking. This takes an already stressful situation to a whole new level – especially when you cannot effectively communicate and advocate for yourself because of the disease or a flare.
