Gaucher disease is complicated and poorly understood. Whether abdominal issues, breathing, bruising or any number of other issues that can arise, when presenting to an emergency room or for hospital care when you have a rare disease, such as Gaucher, your care is likely to be delayed at best. This kit will assist patients, families and parents when presenting for care. By providing the materials in the HEAT kit, you can be assured the provider caring for you understands your underlying rare disease.
